Youth Program

This program was created in response to the current reality of Palestinian society, where values of diversity and acceptance of different opinions are absent among certain segments.

Believing in the important role of youth as leaders of change, “Filastiniyat” has dedicated a program to them, focusing on popularizing the art of debate as a method of critical thinking. This fosters a new culture of dialogue based on reading and research, enabling youth to reach logical information, facts, and conclusions, equipping them for competition among themselves and their lives.

Since 2013, the Debate Program has focused on working with students from 18 universities in the West Bank and the Gaza Strip. Over the years, the program has worked to include new students annually while developing the skills of former students, a number of whom have become trainers in the art of debating.

The university debates are witnessing a qualitative development of the program, which is being implemented in cooperation with the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. It aims to establish debate as a core extracurricular activity in the universities that choose to adopt it.
